Summer = the perfect opportunity to banish the heavy-duty foundation and adopt a lazy girl approach!
We’re all for the no-makeup makeup look and wanted to share our favourite tips, tricks and makeup products to help you achieve flawless, glowy skin, neutral eyes and a nude lip with a handful of products.
Tip 1: If you struggle with dark circles and pigmentation, colour correcting, and concealing will help.
Our Bye! Bye! Dark Circles Concealer combines a peachy colour corrector to combat purple tones (great for under the eyes) and a lighter, more neutral concealer to banish blemishes and cover the orange-tone base.
From dark circles to pesky blemishes, the creamy formulation melts into the skin to help you achieve that flawless skin finish.
Best of all? Added Vitamin E and Aloe Vera help to soothe and nourish the skin simultaneously, so you can consider this your all-in-one skincare treat and makeup product.
Tip 2: A neutral eye with a gentle shimmer will bring a touch of glamour to your natural look.
Gone are the days of wearing one cream-tone eyeshadow and calling it a neutral eye look. We appreciate that you want to add some extra dimension to the eyes, so to achieve a subtle but glamourous look, we recommend combining the lightest three shades in our Back to Basics Eyeshadow Palette.
The first cream shade is the perfect base for fair-medium skin. When combined with the third beige tone (along the crease) and the second pink-nude shimmer shadow (on the lid), you’ll achieve a simplistic eye look… with some added shine!
For darker skin tones, we recommend shades three-five; using the beige tone as a base, the beige-brown matte shadow as a crease shade, and popping the slightly golden shimmer onto the lid.
Tip 3: Brows frame the face, so a good brow powder and gel are key.
Did you know, eyebrow shadow is the perfect choice to achieve that fluffy, natural brow look?
Our Brow Kit includes a miniature brow gel, making on-the-go touch-ups easier than ever before, plus a trio of three shadows – two shades to fill the brows in and one to subtly highlight the brow bone.
Tip 4: Whether you’re a warm bronzer or pink blusher kind of girl, adding a little dimension to the face will help to brighten the complexion.
The good news is, we have two products for the occasion!
Our Blush and Glow Palette includes a pink blush, cool-tone bronzer and shimmery highlight for the ultimate skin finish; while our Hello Sunshine Bronzer is a slightly deeper alternative, which combines a shimmery and matte bronzer powder, helping you to look radiant… whatever the weather.
Tip 5: Neutral is the new red – opt for a nude gloss or crayon to complete the look.
The hotter the weather gets, the less patience we have for red lip products. The good news is, a nude lip will see us through from 9-5 with minimal touch-ups required!
